Open Deployment in Generator UI's left menu for build/deployment settings. Project settings manages title/image storage; server configuration is here.
General settings
Enable Docker and Production deployment for production tooling. CI provider None selects manual commands; GitLab/GitHub selects CI. Server layout, Image delivery and Backups are defaults for new profiles; changing them does not overwrite existing profiles.
Creating a profile
A separate creation block appears below existing profiles. Enter New profile name, select Preset, Add profile. For example, create local for Local production (Docker), test and production for Single server. Multiple profiles coexist; edit one selection at a time.
The name is passed to --env: --env test selects test. Preset defines layout, not command name. Profiles do not start containers automatically; coordinate domains, ports and directories for multiple profiles on one machine.
Completing a profile
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Runtime directory | Separate database/file/state directory; absolute on servers |
| Domains and TLS contact email | API/admin addresses and certificate contact |
| Image delivery | Source, Archive or Registry under startup workflows |
| SSH targets | Archive/Registry servers; single-server Source needs no SSH to itself |
| Image storage | Paths/S3 settings for the Project settings adapter |
| Backup destination | None, Local or S3, independent of working image storage |
| Allowed HTTPS origins | Browser applications permitted to call API |
Source requires Single server and CI provider None. Archive/Registry support one or two servers. Choose GitLab, GHCR, Docker Hub or Custom registry and provide full backend/admin/ops repository names. Do not enter passwords in UI.
Save deployment settings, then Generate. This creates deploy/generated/environments/<имя>.json and an initially empty deploy/custom/environments/<имя>.json. No copying into deploy/environments/ is needed. Preview effective JSON includes custom settings. See overrides.
Profile edits and Generate do not change the VPS. Continue with the selected release guide. Use reconfigure for delivery/backup changes to running environments. It does not migrate domains, servers or storage.
